Hello! I am Jesus Salcedo, a software engineer with a passion for technology and innovation.

I have worked at The Morning Star Company, the world's largest tomato processor, for the past 7 years. During my time there, I learned to embrace the self management principles and learned what it means to own a product and start a company.

I co-founded the Morning Star subsidiary, Gradient Crop Yield Solutions, where we developed a platform to help farmers optimize their crop yields. We did this by using various sensors in the field to collect data, analyze it, and provide irrigation reccomendations to farmers. I assisted with the development of the platform that allowed Gradient to expand from 6,000 acres to 26,000 acres in 3 years.

Afterwards, I started my own company, Honeycomb Robotics, with another Morning Star colleague, and together we offer software engineering services. I am currently working on a new project called Overview, that will allow farmers to view their crop health for their fields remotely, using the power of satellite imagery. I am looking for new opportunities to continue to grow and learn. I am open to new challenges and am excited to see what the future holds.
